The Residence

Tortoreto beachResidence Civi is in Tortoreto Lido, one of the smartest seaside villages on the Adriatic cost. It is the ideal place to spend a relaxing holiday without forsaking the comforts and services which only a touristic town can offer.

The residence is set in a sheltered position really close to the sea and just a few steps from the town centre. Thanks to the long bicycle path you can also get to Alba Adriatica and Martinsicuro, or reach the seaport of Giulianova to admire charming fishing boats.

Residence CiviTortoreto’s beach is wide and made up of fine, golden sand. From 1992 till nowadays Tortoreto has been an official Blue Flag beach, since it respects the criteria of safety, seawater quality and environmental conservation as established by the Foundation for Environmental Education.

02 tortoreto_spiaggia_sEarly in the morning it’s easy to meet fishermen on the seashore, selling the good Adriatic fish they’ve just caught. In our two-room and three-room flats, we have accommodated both families and groups of young people for several years, thanks to the flexibility and comforts as you’d expect from a flat, along with the services offered by a hotel, so guests don’t need to worry about time restrictions. You will also find socialising areas for children and adults at your disposal.

Restaurant Kitchens are equipped with all you need, and every flat has balconies to eat outdoors upon. If you fancy tasting local cuisine, the Ulivo Mare restaurant will offer you real Italian and regional plates and an incredible variety of modular salads. Moreover, there is a wide selection of excellent gluten-free food.

Finally, you can decide to take away your meal and taste it on the beach or in your own flat, as you please. You can also choose the bed & breakfast option and start your day with a tasty Italian home-made breakfast.

Tortoreto and Abruzzo are not only beach and seaside resorts. Like most regions of Italy, Abruzzo offers the possibility to discover and visit so many wonderful places, all full of art and history. During the summer especially, you can come across popular festivals about the renowed culinary tradition from Abruzzo, its famous wines and genuine extra virgin olive oil.
Abruzzo is also the region of the National Park, where you can easily see wolves, chamoises and the Marsican Brown Bear.

Residence Civi is set just a few kilometres near the border with Marches, so you can also visit the picturesque landscape of this
central part of Italy, and the amazing towns of artistic interest like Ascoli Piceno.
